Young Braves have released their new single ‘1984’.

The new single comes ahead of the band’s Birmingham headline show at The Flapper in Birmingham on August 24th.

Speaking of the single, the band said: “’1984′ is the 3rd single we’ve released this year, and it’s taken us in a slightly different direction. The song is about the George Orwell book of the same name becoming almost a reality in the world we live in today, and how we’re heading for disaster if things continue the way they are. The lyric ‘I know it’s on me‘, which can be heard throughout the song, is basically saying how it’s up to everyone to step up and change things for themselves before it’s too late.”

Fittingly oozing 80’s vibes with a synth-rock blend, ‘1984’ is a rock ‘n’ roll tinged track that perfectly soundtracks frontman’s Ollie Scott’s soaring vocals.
