Larkins have released their new single ‘Not Enough Love’.
The new single comes ahead of the band’s headline October UK tour dates, including a show at Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s.
Speaking of the single, frontman Josh Noble said: “‘Not Enough Love’ was born from thinking about our hometown. I just remember feeling like we just had to get out of there and moving to Manchester was such a big deal for us. The production is my favourite yet. We slowed stuff down to record and then sped it up to create really cool guitar tones. I think lyrically I just wanted to talk about everything that went on when I was a kid and being so frustrated with the politics that comes with a small suburban town.”
The single follows the release of the band’s previous LMLL Track of the Day ‘Sugar Sweet’ which has firmly made its mark on the UK music scene.
And it seems ‘Not Enough Love‘ could easily follow in its footsteps…
A playful indie-pop track, the single is undeniably catchy with a singalong-primed chorus in true Larkins style. It’s instantly addictive and we guarantee you won’t be able to sit still.
Larkins have proved themselves ones to watch, with their recent singles building the foundations for one of Manchester’s most exciting upcoming bands.
