My Ultra Violet have released their debut single ‘Islands’.

The single is the first taster from the LA trio who are set to release their debut EP ‘Wilde’.

Recorded at Fireside Sound studio with producer/mixer Adam Greenspan (Nick Cave, Supergrass, Band of Skulls) and Malcolm Cross (former touring drummer with Spiritualized), the EP title is a nod to one of the band’s favourite poets Oscar Wilde.

Speaking of the single, the band said: “‘Islands’ is a summer song about falling in love for the first time…”.

With a shimmering chorus, ‘Islands’ is a laidback alt-pop track that sets the scene for hazy summer evenings.
