New Divide have released their new single ‘Delora’.
The new track from the Manchester alt-rockers follows their live slots at iconic local venues including Gullivers, Bread Shed and The Night & Day.
Speaking of the single, frontwoman Charlotte said: “’Delora ‘is the amalgamation of the toxic people in a relationship that manipulate their partner, controlling them through guilt and conditional love until they become the only one you rely upon, Written when their corrupted love turns to an obsession over another, someone, or something else, you learn that you have begun to covet their attention, to depend upon them.”
Charlotte’s vocals dominate the four-minute hypnotic alt-rock release. An incredibly engaging single, with elements reflective of fellow Mancunian’s Pale Waves, its sweeping soundscape, fuzzy guitars and almost haunting vocals are set to captivate any listener.
This track alone showcases the band’s future potential, making them one of our 2023 hot tips.
