Track of the Day | Oh Brother – Hopeless Romantic

Oh Brother have released their new single ‘Hopeless Romantic’.

Alongside the single release, the band has also announced a mini-tour across England.

The new single represents a ‘new chapter’ for the band as they explore a more production-heavy guitar-driven sound, with new tracks recorded at Courtyard Studios in Oxford with Ian Davenport (Demob Happy, Band of Skulls).

Speaking of the single, frontman Jake Leslau said: “I wanted to tackle that age-old problem whereby we manage to convince ourselves everything’s all gravy and we’ve got in the bag – where in reality, you’ve missed the mark by quite some bit.”

‘Hopeless Romantic’ is a sultry-soaked single with cinematic inspired riffs that build into a glam-rock chorus, that provides an old school throwback to desert rock days.
