Saytr Play have released their new single ‘Honest Man’.
The new single comes ahead of the band’s forthcoming headline tour, including a Scottish headliner at Glasgow’s Broadcast on November 28th.
Speaking of the single, frontman Fred Farrell said: “’Honest Man’ is a raucous heartfelt garage indie song that explores the idea of being happy in a bad relationship for the sake of easy love. It’s the idea of settling down out of fear of being alone. I’ve seen too many friends try to “make this work” on false promises and I too have lost years of my life on the wrong people before. This one’s for us.”
‘Honest Man’ is an uplifting alt-rock release with down-to-earth lyrics. Alongside being relatable for many, the lyrics are cleverly crafted around their addictive sound in a way that makes them primed for singalongs with sections interwoven for vocal spotlights and instrumental showcases. It’s another single that’s unmistakably Saytr Play, oozing energy from the first second and leaving you wanting more.
