Slide have released the video for new single ‘If You Say’.

The track is the third single taken from the band’s debut EP ‘Into Happiness‘, out now via If Music Could Talk /AWAL.

Speaking of the video, Slide’s Albin Skeppholm said: “This is probably our most ambitious video so far. We filmed in a bunch of different locations including a hospital, a sauna filled with smoke and a tiny box built out of drywall. On top of that, there is like a montage of old infomercials to make it all even more chaotic, twitchy and neurotic.”

With its old school indie vibes from the get-go, by the time the chorus kicks in ‘If You Say’ manages to feel familiar. Cleverly repetitive lyrics within the chorus enhance the single’s meaning as the band described as the “…tunnel vision, or fixation if you will, of someone who is an addict or very dependent on something”.

Alongside the meaningful move, Slide have crafted an extremely catchy singalong-ready chorus, that you’ll be singing along by the time the track ends.
