Sunder have released their debut single ‘The Day I Died’.
Produced by Manuel Joseph Walker and recorded by Jay Stolo, ‘The Day I Died’ is a strong introductory release from the LA-based quartet.
Speaking of the single, vocalist/guitarist Steven Esquibel says: “We wanted ‘The Day I Died’ to envelop the listener in beautiful atmospheric sound, while the melancholic vocal melodies inspire a longing for more. Infused with the sound of ‘80s dream pop, our hope for the band is to capture that nostalgic sound and push its boundaries into the modern era.”
‘The Day I Died’ oozes pop influences through its velvety indie sound. It’s an instantly comforting track that feels magically nostalgic, creating a mesmerising single.
