The Maple State have released their new single ‘Zero Days Since Last Incident’.

The new single teases the band’s comeback celebrating 20 years with a new album scheduled for this autumn.

Speaking of the single, front man Greg Counsell said: “It felt for the first time in years like I’d written a proper Maple State song—there was real connective tissue to those songs we wrote back when we were teenagers. There’s something about the rhythm guitar that reminds me of bands like Braid or Hey Mercedes.”

Welcome back to the cult Manchester band! ‘Zero Days Since Last Incident’ lyrically is as personal as it gets whilst their sound remains true to their emo roots, with thrashing drums and a driving bassline.
