The Rooks have released their new single ‘Right About Now’.

The new single sees the band reunite with long-time collaborator and GRAMMY Award-winning producer Jim Lowe (Foo Fighters, Stereophonics & more) and comes ahead of their festival appearance at this year’s TRNSMT Festival.

Speaking of their new single, frontman Ross Gardiner said: “We wanted to try a different process in the studio this time, we’d been playing ‘Right About Now’ live for a couple of months and we were comfortable with the arrangement, so we tracked most of it live.”

‘Right About Now’ sees The Rooks lean hard into their raw rock instincts, delivering a guitar-driven anthem. Known for fusing melodic hooks with a punk-rock edge, this single is made to be shouted back by a crowd. Gritty and anthemic in all the right places, it’s tailor-made for TRNSMT’s stage.
