The Tubs have released their new single ‘Now and Then’.

The track is taken from their new album ‘Hard Life’, due out on September 11th via Merge Records.

Speaking of the single, frontman Owen Williams said: “This is another cuck–rock tune from the classic persona, this time about a period in which I fooled myself into thinking that dating someone very occasionally but indefinitely would be a workable arrangement.”

To celebrate their new album release, The Tubs will headline Glasgow’s Stereo on September 25th as part of their extensive autumn UK tour.

With their self-confessed jangle-pop sound, ‘Now and Then’ embraces it and leans into the band’s indie influences to create an addictive release, with Williams vocals perfectly complemented by Lan McArdle.
