wavebye have unveiled their debut single ‘Sugar’.

Formerly known as Faux, the band are back with new music under their new name.

wavebye have also just announced their debut London show, supporting alt rockers Chapter & Verse at Thousand Island on 16th May.

Speaking of their new sound, frontman Finlay Male said: “We started the band Faux as a group of friends writing emo/pop-rock with the simple goal of having fun while feeling creatively content. Our years together formed a strong passion and belief in our ability to create a unique sound that we feel was no longer fairly represented by Faux and our name should evolve with us.”

‘Sugar’ flows with the perfect balance of pop rock elements, from jangly guitars to soaring harmonies building up to a singalong set chorus, creating an addictive single that leaves you wanting more.
