Silver Seeds have released their new single ‘Shangri-La’.

The track is the third single taken from the band’s debut album ‘Hope’ recorded at Camelot Studios, with producer Lancelot Smith.

Speaking of the single, the band said: “‘Shangri-la’ is a song about trying to get past your everyday troubles and to reach your own personal Shangri-la, which is a peaceful spiritual place free of inner conflict, but in the song ‘Shangri-la’, shangri-la can be a number of things that help you reach the higher peace, from a place, to a person, to meditation, to music, to art, to whatever brings you inner peace.

“The song was a throwaway song which Gerard (the drummer and curator of songs) had picked from demos I’d sent him, I was thinking it was deep, spiritual and meaningful, and Ger was thinking the song was a song people would have a good time, dance, drink beer and sing along to. Hopefully, it’s both!!!”

‘Shangri-La’ is a shimmering single, led by jangly guitars and Britpop vocals it’s a carefree release that’ll leave you swaying along.
